Hello. Anyone know why this happens?

    I've installed and un-installed and re-installed 3 times.

My beard grew 3 feet from these installs :)

    Thanks

thanks Luis. I'll do a fresh OS install and try again. Anything to avoid calling tech support, anything. Maybe Apple will give me hope again for support calls.

Did you try trashing the preferences? I would try that first as it is simple and quick solution to some FCP issues. There is a free application called Preference Manager that makes this process a breeze. Just do a preference Manager google search. Good luck!

Have you ever used Apple for Tech Support? They will give you a whole new meaning to the words "Tech Support".

Thanks Mike, I'll try that preferences deletion.

Joseph. I guess I shouldn't have assumed Apple is like the rest.

"Apple" and "like the rest" just don't go well in the same sentence...except the way you used it. ;)
