    If you're using them for motion control you will have problems. Per a post from Stuart awhile back the port is limited to around 6 frames per second before it starts choking. It should work ok for time lapse though.

    I'm actually interested to know whether the interval between pressing the button and the camera starting is always the same.

    I know it was a while back but did you ever get an answer to this question?

    I have an external timelapse trigger for my still cameras and I would love to connect it to my Red but I'm not sure how to make the connection to the GPI
