That is correct.My guess would be to prevent that upon installation of the new build you'd get asked again to install the build.
Then next time try this - save a USER PREF file to SD Card prior to doing the firmware upgrade... then read it back after the upgrade.But I would love to be able to preserve the user settings between each upgrade...

From page 16 of the new operations guide: "The sequence of 12-bit RAW images received from the sensor is compressed using proprietary wavelet based REDCODE™ RAW compushion." The term appears again on page 112. What's "compushion"? My guess was "compassionate pixel fushion". ;)
