Will Red be able to change the power-off button functionality, so that it requires confirmation of power down?

I have seen a few people ask for this now, and I hoped it would be in Build 20. But it isn't.

It is far too easy to accidentally press the black button :-(

We looked into that as a potential upgrade. Unfortunately it's not possible to implement via firmware.

This is why I always use side record.

I pretend there is no record button on the back of the camera.

We're anxious to move into Build 20 but would very much like to know if the Birger Mount lens data is working with this release.

Yes it does. When you upgrade to build 20 toggle the S4i in the menus and wait a few seconds and the lens data will appear on the screen.

You can boot up the camera having the Birger power cable in the aux port with out any problems. At least in my case, haven't had any problems in powering up the camera. Notice that if there's a failure in the lens data, you won't get the lens data back without rebootiing. So, if you don't get the lens data after upgrading, switch the S4i option on and reboot while keeping the Birger power cable connected to the camera.

Thank you enormously Lauri. Excellent to hear this; I'll upgrade this morning.

Upgraded to build 20 and the Birger lens data works perfectly. Thanks again Lauri. Think I'll go shoot something now.
