I shot a music video in 4k and the clips have the resolution of 3840x2160 for some reason? Anyone know how that is possible? It's completely screwing up my workflow.

This is one of the shooting resolutions on the Red One. 4K HD. It's "quad 1920x1080". You will notice that your _H files are 1920x1080. Sorry I can't help you with Color workflows - I don't touch that app - maybe someone who works with it can chime in here.Originally Posted by dcsimpson

4KHD is meant to be an exact double of 1920x1080, making resizing faster and better looking. It's 4x the resolution so the oversampling is wonderful!
Double each and you will get exactly 3840x2160.
Great setting, I use it almost exclusively.
