    Could someone help me?

    Workflow
    >edit proxy on FCP
    >export EDL for SCRATCH
    >import R3D on SCRATCH
    >load EDL then assemble

Now here comes the problem. The R3D files loaded on the Scratch has a different timecode on what's on my FCP in some of my clip. I ended up having still frames and mismatch videos from my offline guide. Looking for a work around I then modify the timecode on those certain clips, export a new EDL. It works perfect, but do I really need to this every now and then. We have done a test before editing on RED files and it works great even the slow mo, speed up and dissolves have no issue at all.

    My question is:
    What am I missing?
How do I resolve this timecode issue?
    Is this a bug?
    What shoul I do?

    I'm a newbie.

    Please someone HELP...

Why? What "different timecode" is on these clips in FCP? Is it the EDGE CODE?

R3D files carry both Time Code and Edge Code - you can see both of these if you open the R3D in Red Alert. If you have a mix of these - Scratch can handle it - you just need to toggle to/from timecode to edge code on the incorrect clips.

One more thing how do we toggle to/from timecode to edge code on the incorrect clips on Scratch?

We can't seem to find the button to toggle it. Thanks again in advance.
