    No.

    The ASIC chip is different based on the sensor size. If you have a 8k sensor you need 4x as much processing power as a 4k sensor.

    Everything else is probably so inexpensive it isn't worth the effort. (<$1000)

    Also the FF35 brain is physically larger than the S35 brain so you wouldn't have enough room. And if you have a FF35 or S35 sensor why would you want to downgrade to the s35 or 2/3" (respectively)?

    And I think I've heard rumors that the Mysterium-X REDOne upgrade is going to cost $4500. In which case it's pretty much the same as just buying a new S35 Scarlet brain.

    I don't think Red wants to have hardware upgrades for every new camera that they have to install themselves.

    the camera base body can come in two flavors epic and scarlet..
    also i meant that modules are blocks that doesn't need manufacture service to install just anyone can do it..
