Hey Fran.. yeah NJR is great.. That Art Department has a pretty good stable of incredible photographers.

Im guilty of going a bit plastic myself.. and I think it's hit the portraits of females the most. I've been shooting alot of swimsuit stuff the last couple months and when I look back I went a little far on some of the shots. It's easy to get carried away and just get into habit.

I dont know if I like this reel or not, sure its nice and flashy, but it feels like RED is losing touch with its core customers the older reels always had a good mix of "studio" and "independent" footage we all know that the RED can produce amazing footage, I just felt like we did not get to see as much of it in this reel.... this felt like green day made a music video for the movie Gamer.

    The last shot is amazing.

Quite late, but i was finally able to download this video after 3 hours and it was worth the wait:-) too bad my dell laptop only goes up to 720p. anyways, it's been asked plenty of times but i figure wouldn't hurt to ask again. I'd really like to know where a lot of the footage in this reel came from. thanks! (only thing i recognize is district 9, and only cause someone's family sent it out to us here :-P)

What was this shot on? RED One? Epic? Scarlet? I'm new to RED Reels so excuse me if I sound stupid by asking this.

The reel looks great, really nice job. Finally had the chance to download today. Great to get a sneak peek at The Book of Eli. Plus, I just saw that Green Day concert (I think it was the same one) on Paladium the other day and was thinking how good it looked.

I didn't have time to read through all the posts to see if someone mentioned this already so forgive me if it's a repost...

The shot of Naomi Watts walking toward camera in the white suit is very distracting to me because the couple behind her are in focus and she is slightly out of (or on the edge of) focus. I looked at it like 10 times to be sure it wasn't just my eyes, but she definitely looks soft compared to the others in frame. I'm sure it was chosen because she is a major star, and it's a powerful shot walking toward camera like that, but it just seemed like an odd compromise on a reel showing off the cameras exceptional image capabilities i.e. to leave an imperfect image in the cut.
