  1. #1 Red brick repair
    Hi guys,

just returned from a 3 week shoot in Chile. We had a problem with one of our bricks there. It couldnīt be loaded anymore after it worked without problems.

I donīt know what happened, but the LEDīs donīt show anything anymore and the loader - well - just doesnīt load that brick.

There seems to be only a limited guarantee on the bricks and ours is off guarantee by now. Weīve been informed RED doesnīt repair bricks.

Does anyone know of a Europe based company which does repairs like that ? Preferably in Germany ?

    Help would be appreciated !!

    Thanks,

    Frank

You can buy a kit from Switronix to replace the contact block.

contact Switronix, they can help you on that.

One thing, check your negative contact from the brick. Anything unusual ? You might try to clean that up in case the surface is melted for temporary solution.

    Thanks guys,

youīre sure this is a contact problem, not a battery cell related issue ?

Hard to say Frank. You need to open it up and measure it out to check what's wrong.
