  #1 Final Alpha..
Ok.. here it is guys, the last REDCINE-X alpha before the code guys re-group. Enjoy.

Lots of bug fixes and a few things new:

-Drag select multiple clips from browser/bin

    -FPS playback speed indicator

    - Delete key removes clips from timeline

    - Command-F Fullscreen mode

    - Toggle Rocket on and off

And a Buncha other stuff I can't remember right now.

Nice! It's fixed a big problem for me - I have this R3D that I downloaded that broke somehow. Before when I tried to play it, it would work until it got to the broken bit, and then all the clips would go black, the histogram would mess up, and I wouldn't be able to play anything without restarting the program. Now it's all fixed - I just get messed up video while playing the broken part, but everything else seems to work.

EDIT: With a little more playing around, it seems that the clip still messes things up - after I play it I can't use curves any more... Do you want a copy of it, Jarred?

One other thing - what does the package install that needs root privileges? Because I just dragged the old alphas I had to my trash, but if it's installing something somewhere else should I have uninstalled them differently?

it now should automatically remove the old version and then install the new version.. which is why it needs those permissions i would imagine. no need to delete the old version anymore.

You might want to do a permission repair, and as Jarred said it installed strait up, and anything that went on in the BG was done without asking for anything.

Yes it installs as a separate app untouching the older version, so I guess there is still the need to remove the older one manually.

So we have to keep them updated :).
