    I need to ramp 25fps to 50fps and back again - is this possible in-camera on Red One?
    (ramping up is obviously quite simple, but to get back to normal speed - how'd i go about it?)

    That would be really handy, I don't think you can do it currently.

    The camera is limited to only ramping one way at a time. You'll have to do one of the ramps in post.

    Yes, ramp it from 50 to 25, then speed up the first half in post.

    Question about shutter speeds:

    Does the shutter stay "relative" as the thing ramps? (I didn't know the camera actually did that, and I'm a little confused.)

    And so would there be a mismatch if he did as you suggested? The first section would be with a different shutter than the last?
