i just received my red. just testing out the cam. it's a lovely instrument. anyway, for any bird lovers, here is some of the action on my birdfeeder. the first shot is normal speed for the sake of comparison; the rest are shot at high fps.

Those damn birds are so wasteful! Congrats on figuring how the 120fps, I could only get mine to 110 to start with. Actually, I still only get it to 110fps.

the woodpeckers are the worst, they will dig half the feeder out for a peanut.

120fps only works (on build 20) at 2k 2:1 or ana.

Hahah that bird ate like 1 freaking piece of food for every 20. Horrible

hahaha hahaha hahaha. This has got to be my favorite thread of them all. Thanks for the heads up on build 20 120fps, that was my problem.

We have a bird feeder in the yard. In the winter it gets pretty crowded, mostly finches and chickadees. They will empty it in two days or so. The spilled seed doesn't go to waste though, ground feeders like cardinals, robins and juncos clean that up.

Nice footy Adam, what lens were you using?

thanks david. the nuthatch was shot w/ a nikon 200mm ai. the shots of the chickadees and tufted titmouse where shot w/ a nikon 85mm ais.

i was hoping the woodpeckers and cardinals would make an appearance, but i guess since it wasn't a sag shoot...

Can't wait to put my Angenieux 12-240mm on Scarlet 2/3". Should be a great wildlife lens. 35mm equivalent would be about 45-900mm!

Sounds like we have very similar bird species mix. Where are you located? I am in Northwest SC.
