Does anyone with the older (Arri-style) ET 19mm bridgeplate have any interest in swapping with me?
I have the newer "modular" bridgeplate (which you can switch between 15mm and 19mm) with my latest camera.
I'm not super fond of the two locks on each side. Trying to get back to the Arri-standard for my rental clients.
    PM if interested.
    Cheers,
    Harry

Alright. Thanks for the follow up.

If anyone else wants to trade just let me know.

Also, if you have the ET Hybrid with dual Studio (19mm and 15mm) support, I will trade for both 19mm and 15mm of the older ET Arri style base plates.

Why not just unscrew the back section?

I also am wondering the same thing.

What is it that you guys don't like about the new hybrid plate system? I still have the old style base plates, but I've used the hybrid plate a couple times and I like it... So what's up?

The big kipp handles are ridiculous, for one. Just large, in the way, and unnecessary.

    Yes. Silly big Kip Flippers.
The whole footprint is larger than the original, and the removable section is one more part to loosen up...
I just liked the traditional Arri-style design. Simple and rugged.
