  1. #1 Old Epic Renders
Does anybody have any of the old epic renders? I remember something being posted shortly before Jim announced that Epic... has changed.

I was just curious to see the evolution of the camera. I found the thread from the very first render, but the photo seems to have disappeared in the great forum crash. I was looking for some of the newer ones than that, but couldn't find anything.

This is actually the version I was looking for, but I can't find it any bigger than this.

Anybody have it saved? This was the render a while after Jim posted the first one, and this was where we were starting to see progress in the design based on feedback.

Wasn't there one with a bit of a shoulder cutout?

And this was when Epic was 5K only!

I have 'em all, stretching back to NAB when it was introduced. I'll post them tomorrow...

This was a good one. Low center of gravity and great cable routing.
Nice flat top with plentiful screw holes to bolt shit onto.

I really liked that one too. That was about the last render before Jim posted the "everything's changed" post and we headed into modular territory.
