Suddenly I have a lot of dropped frames with 16GB CF cards when using prerecord. Newest build, Redcode 36, 3K (varispeed) or 4k. Before build 21 the cards could manage without problems. Is it a known build 21 bug?
    Thanks,
    Marc

I'm in the same boat Marc with Red Drive and 16 gig CF cards. Can anyone from Red verify this as a known Build 21 problem?

Hi Dan, now we have the second bug in common. How far you´re with the Nikon mount problem?
    Cheers,
    Marc

(I thought it would maybe be a 16GB CF card problem. With the drive too? Makes me worried)

Nikon mount turned out to be fine. That's the good news. Bad news is I sent the camera back to Red, they shimmed it and returned it saying it is "within our outgoing specs". Problem remains- focus falloff frame left bottom. I took it to a local camera tech who checked it with his collimator and confirmed my suspicion that the sensor block appears to be askew. It is not so bad that I can't shoot with it. In fact, I have only noticed it on one shot out of thousands (but it shows up easily on focus charts). Bottom line- it ain't right. The battle continues...

    Bump!
No way to use pre record. Only dropped frames.
    Answers would be very appreciated.
    Thank you
    Marc
