Is there an "easy" way to replace proxies with 1K ProRes Transcodes?

I have crimson, clipfinder, Final Cut Pro 6... We started logging and assembling with _M proxies, but decided that 1K ProRes transcodes would be more stable and a better workflow for us... But I'm not sure how to replace our _M proxies in our Final Cut project without manually relinking and losing the cuts we have already started... I have this great software.. I'm just not sure how to do this... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
