We have had MANY requests from RED ONE customers to create an option where they can keep their RED ONE and still buy an early EPIC-X.

Many of you have made your money back several times over with your RED ONE, your RED ONE has become part of your family, you want to hold on to part of your personal history... along with industry history. We get it.

We will create another option for you to consider on the 30th.

You have said lots of cool thing, understanding things, hard-nosed things, revolutionary things.

But that is without a doubt the sweetest thing you have ever said.

RED ONE #1248 can take its place alongside ol' button-eyed Teddy someday.

Until then, I plan to keep it busy busy busy.

Makes my belly tickle... would love to keep #476, but everything has it´s price, hope it´s a good one!

I would even love to keep the shell of #476 "Mother", and put it alongside our other cameras of the past, Arri 16bl and more

Not to mention to keep using it.

There should be a proviso that they do a certain amount of community service for up and coming Indie's.

RED is made of people! Seriously behavior like this is why I'm waiting for my Scarlet instead of buying interim cams right now. Think Pany or Sony would care how you feel about your gear?

@Tim I'm already doing that and don't even have one yet :) Will be great to finally have a cam where I don't have to repair the image before I can start using it (a la Nikon, Canon).
