I'm still very surprised that Robert Rodriguez has stayed so silent on Red, why isnt he in this? It seems straight up his alley. Hopefully he's on the Epic train soon enough

Robert has a very tight relationship with Sony, just like Fincher has a very tight relationship with the Viper guys. The fact that Fincher has not chosen his viper to shoot this movie is very significant in a number of different ways. I imagine he tested the new MX sensor and was so blown away that the choice was obvious, but that is just my guess.

I just got permission to say that Social Network, directed by David Fincher, is officially being Shot on RED. They have prototype RED ONE cameras with Mysterium-X sensors. The cinematographer just sent me a quote to post...

Jim or anyone in the 4k Projector Realm,

With all the 4k shooting, 4.5 shooting and beyond. What would be a good or the best 4k Projector I can hook into the Red Rocket? (and a 4k Projector that is not going to weigh in at 245 lbs.).

People who know me , know I like my toys. And having a 4k Projector would just be cool to have like a couple Red Cameras.
