    Hello all,

After a year of red usage it appears I have my 1st missing file problem, and OF COURSE at the worst possible time....

I was wondering what I could do, if anything, to recover the files. Here's the situation:

I was using R3D data manager, and backing up to 2 simultaneous destinations (as usual).

From a prior project, I'd had the settings on the "If the RDC folder exists" then "over right existing data" (big mistake will never do this again).

After successfully coping 2 reels, I failed to push the button "remove finished copy from the que" and when I attached the next reel, it appears R3D wiped out the successfully copied data from the previous reel!

I'm currently running the R3D recovery program, but it keeps hanging, and some of the FILES APPEAR to be there (but not all of them). The red drives that the scenes were shot on have been reformatted and recorded on so Red Undead cannot help me, is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks!

    -Matt.

    Hello everyone,

I'm using red undead and have recovered 8 of the 21 missing clips, but RED undead keeps stalling about 5 hours in, and I have to go back to the beginning and start again. Is there any way to skip the files I've already recovered in the terminal and pick up from where I left off?

    Thanks.

Raise a RED support ticket - you should get a faster more definitive answer than most Redusers can give you on this subject!
