According to Peter, the Fixed Camera's lens alone, should be $10K-$15K. Sounds like no matter what the cost of a Fixed scarlet, we would be getting a steal of a deal.Originally Posted by luis ignacio barrague

Jarred or anyone else in the know,
Apologies for belaboring the point but could you comment on whether it would be possible to control a fixed scarlet via remote wire input or whether 3rd partys will be able to make remote controls for the camera. I'm trying to envision how it would best be controlled electronically within an underwater housing. I.E. if it would be possible to have electronic buttons on the exterior of the housing controlling the camera inside.
No worries if not, i'm sure Gates will come up with excellent manually operated through the housing controls to interface with the redmote on the inside.

So that probably means we can program two focus points and go back and forth using the ring?

Last I read..fixed scarlet lens was T2.4. Of course stuff is still under development so may change.

Man that fixed lens looks good! I'm guessing no OLED on this one? Zoom, focus, iris rings?
