Jarred, thanks for the update on the RED STATION. Me like it.
So what are the initial capacities of the new SSD mags? Any prices yet? The render shows 128GB on the 1.8", but just wondering what the state of things actually is or if it's still to early to say...
Yes where are the stills we were told should wait till the oct 30 announcement?
Will there be a Tattoo Day at Red HQ?
I agree, there are a LOT of price options for Scarlet users. Consider this camera versus an HPX 170 or EX1/3 pricewise and functionality.
3 axis Gyro, 5 axis sensor adjustment, Metadata for 3 different lens mounts, RAW, 3k, redcode...the list goes on and on vs VDSLR. I'm pretty sure you're getting your money's worth and then some...and some more and more.
Looks like things are coming along nicely at RED... love the real pictures. Bravo. No complaints here...
I get a kick out of the bottom of the first picture in regards to the trademarks "RED, EPIC X, SCARLET.... and a bunch of others are registered trademarks of RED" - now that's just funny.
Jarred, didn't you say something about the BOMB EVF being available separate from the EPIC camera program? Do you have a date for that yet?
As someone who waited many months with the current EVF on backorder, I have to decide if I should buy one now that they are available, or wait (a bit) to get a BOMB...
