I film a lot of fast action/extreme sports. I am currently working on a Documentary. Anyway, being that I film action sports I am looking for a higher frame rate with somewhat of a budget. Will the Scarlet shoot 120/150fps bursts at 3k? The spec sheet doesn't really determine that. At 3k and that frame rate I can still scale the shots and keyframe zooms in post to fit a HD image.

    Thanks,
    Ross

Hi, this is my first post on RedUser too. Like you I film action sports (namely Downhill and Freeride Mountain Biking) and am looking at possibly getting a 2/3" Scarlet when they come out. What I understand is that the 2/3" can do 120fps continuously at 3K, and 150fps bursts (although it hasn't been mentioned for how long yet).

    Yes.

Fairly obvious since the spec sheet does say "3k: 1 - 120 FPS (150 FPS burst)"...
