This seems pretty basic, but is there a tool that will create Quicktime proxies for a whole drive of r3d files. The only way seems to be 1 clip at a time on red alert. Has anyone written a script for batch creation using redline perhaps?

Normally I'm at the grading/onlining end of things. But I'm running post for this feature and need to nail these things down.

    Any help appreciated.

I think Clipfinder, Monkey Extract or Crimson all do that...

redrushes does that incredibly fast, either to source directory or to a directory of your choice...

In Clipfinder, push Apple-A (select All), then Alt-Apple-A (Make proxies).

    Voilá.

(And remember to donate to Clipfinder). http://www.daun.ch/software/

I'm trying to rebuild proxies in Clipfinder, but this is not working for me. I clicked on Import Clips from Directory, selected all, then pushed Alt-Apple-A, but nothing happens.

I am also finding the Proxy regeneration function in Clipfinder is not working. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
