As a Red One owner, I'd like to hear from anyone who wants to shoot an Aussie production on the Epic X S35 but who can't afford to wait behind the original 7000 or so Red One owners who have first dibs on the new camera as part of the loyalty program ( LINK ).
We just wrapped shooting our film "Blokes" with our Red One camera that has a serial number in the low 2000s and would like to introduce fellow filmmakers to the benefits of Red through a mutually beneficial collaboration. To be clear, I'm not looking to sell my Red One but to want to help fellow filmmakers make use of our serial number to shoot Red sooner rather than later.
Ideally I'd like to take advantage of the Red Epic X S35 Stage 2 upgrade program and make both our Red One and Epic X cameras available as part of the collaboration. While the Epic X roll-out timeline is still in a state of flux, I figure a collaborative deal will guarantee your production at least one Red camera on set at the time of shooting and valuable peace of mind.
