Question for AVID users, I have a client that is shooting some sporting events at 2k 100fps with a base frame rate of 29.97. I have access to a RED Rocket system, but a bit confused about the AVID output options. In the drop down it lists that only output 1080p resolution at 23.976 but shows nothing for 29.97 other than 720p.

The client has asked that the codec be DNX 220.

anybody have any insight to this? Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Colin

Media Composer does not yet have a 1080p/29.97 project format at this time. Symphony does, but none of the QT codecs or SDK have added that to be used by third parties yet. You can play 1080p/29.97 in a 1080i/59.94 project/timeline - but the issue is creating it to start with at this time.
