Searching for a SOUND (wo)MAN in L.A.

I'm a french director and I'm working on a short movie in Los Angeles.

I'm looking for a sound operator with his own gear for 4/5 full days during the second half of January and it seems VERY HARD to find !

Maybe you have any suggestion to find him or her ?

I am one of those people who haven't quite given up on Craigslist and still search to this day. It would be refreshing to see more real jobs posted there, although your audience is certainly not pre-qualified like either of the two above options.

If I were in LA, I would take the job, but am happy to find a good match for you. There are definitely a bunch if us looking for good quality work.
