  1. #1 frame rate for sound designer
I have a feature film that we're editing in FCP in 23.98. It will soon go to the sound designer as omfs. Does the sound designer keep the project at 23.98? When, if at all, do we change to a broadcast frame rate? For all distribution possibilities? We plan a 5.1 mix as well.

Do we keep it at 23.98 until someone asks for an SD version?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I don't do features, but i do a lot of commercial work for broadcast in HD and SD. I keep everything up through the master in 23.976. I have 29.97 pulldown done for distribution only.

Audio doesn't really get pulldown - a 23.976 mix will sync just fine with a 29.97 (with 2:3pullown master).
