Don't worry, if Red doesn't someone else will.

first a thank you to the red team for being so open. however I still have a few questions about the fixed 2/3.
    1) what is the focal lenth range for the 8x lense
    2) how do you atach th red volt batery to your fixed scarlet. i was under the imprestion that either a batery modual or a side handel would be needed but neither is part of the package.

    thanks once again

    Wot

(Those who feel the price is too high: Do not be disheartened, there is always the option to rent.)
And if you don't like renting... just imagine what will happen to the resale values of all kinds of cool cameras once scarlet and epic drop. I imagine you'll be able to score a used EX3, etc for a very nice price. I have to imagine that these cameras will force serious price re-adjustments for new cameras from the competition as well. If canon, sony, etc can't match these specs (and it sure doesn't look like it at the moment), they sure are going to have to undersell these cameras pricewise. Even if you can't afford a Scarlet, you'll surely benefit while you work/save for your scarlet/epic/whatever....

The EPIC was conceived at 5.2(h)x3.5(w)x3.54(d) at less than 4 lbs. it grew to: Dimensions- Approx. 4”x4”x5.5”
Weight (Brain only)- Approx. 6 lbs (2.72kg)

Scarlet was conceived at 5.2(h)x2.76(w)x2.76(d) at less than 3 lbs. where are we with the current size and weight of the Scarlet?

Just saw the Scarlet D3 size comparison and.... well I have to clean up.

HDR Stills mode? Hmmmm, I would love to see some examples.
I use HDR techniques extensively for interior photography.
What are the pixel dimensions for still photo mode?

Love the internal heater in the Bomb EVF!! One question...

Will it keep the eyepiece from fogging?

That's one of my main gripes when shooting a video camera. Been very spoiled with heated eyepieces on optical viewfinders...

    It isn't 1080p. That was a rumor....
