I apparently missed a memo. What is REDLink wireless? Bueller? Anybody?

I wonder what data rate you will have at 1080p since this is what I'll be shooting at, most of the time.

Almost 15,000 people online(new record), 10k viewing this thread. Wonder how many are in Japan because it's 5am here.

Maybe scarlet is for the masses and not as niche as some thought.

I don't understand why the scarlet can do 120fps in 3k but not in 1080p??? can you do 24p in 720 or 1080p?

I would imagine that it's because 3K is native and 1080p requires in-body scaling.

Option 21 :D depth of field pass - would fit right in there next to the gps/motion sensors that come next on the list
(look I can dream right? - never having to iron out folds shadows or missing edges of a greensceen by hand would be the best gift anybody could give me - don´t know how much time I spend doing that in my life)
It would also fit VERY well with the HDR option (OMG somebody in the red team gets a VFX supervisor hero award for that alone) - contrary to some people here thinking this is for making nice pictures - its for making HDR irradiance maps for your favorite 3d program - this camera is a VFX supervisors dream. You can of course make "pretty" HDR pictures but I think that novelty has seen its day ;)

as for the motion sensor - PLEASE add a compass if thats not in already - I can´t imagine it costs too much but would add the last bit of valuable data that you would need.
As for the people saying the data from gps+motion sensor is not "enough" to do tracking - well it might be not enough to make pixel perfect tracking but it surely can assist a tracker which then only has to make the raw data pixel perfect instead of figuring out where the camera points, what the tilt is etc pp. Its more then half the way there and especially with huge resolution will speed this up tremendously.

And this came just through twitter:

"@mikeseymour tease : HDR mode is not bracketed stills mode ;-) "
