If I'm not mistaken, Lens Mount options posted for Scarlet so far are:

    PL
    RED (Electronic) (miniRED Primes, etc.)
    Canon (Electronic)
    Nikon (Electronic)

Seconded. I edit photos from everything from Nikon D3s to $150 point and shoots for my newspaper and I know for sure that he's wrong on this.

the main purpose of the HD-SDI is to interface with equipment from other manufacturers
Of course. And our HD-SDI outputs are designed to the SMPTE specs.

most other manufacturers seems to standardize on PsF for 1080/23.98, 25 and 29.97
I think you will find that many manufacturers will accept either version of the format - P or PsF - that the SMPTE spec defines.

So since the Mini Primes are full manual, will there be any benefit to using a REDmote Pro with them? Can you use an adapter ring with the Pro's Follow Focus to control different aspects of the lenses? That Mini Prime set with the Interchangable Brain sounds like a killer combo, but I'd also like the touchscreen focus benefits (facial tracking, trackpoints, etc.).

Just wondering what the setup would be for using the touchscreen focus with the Mini Primes, if that even applies.

All I can say is wow. Absolutely blown away. I know I wont be getting one for a while... but still blown away.
If I paint my DVX red, does that count?

Any words from the RED team if a B4 mount will be an option?

There are an unlimited number of lens mount options for EPIC and Scarlet. Not all are electronically controlled. RED will offer quite a few and third parties will undoubtedly offer the rest. We'll list the RED offered options over time. We just aren't there yet.
