Care to elaborate why?
I for one thought your previous decision to only support P on the Red One was a simple mistake similar to Arri's initial mistake of going all PsF on the D20/21 all the way to 60 frames/sec.
After all the main purpose of the HD-SDI is to interface with equipment from other manufacturers and most other manufacturers seems to standardize on PsF for 1080/23.98, 25 and 29.97, then P for 50P and 59.94P in 1080 or 720...
Is there any chance we might get 24/25fps in HDR mode at lower resolutions like 2/3k?
I NOW ABSOLUTELY CANT WAIT FOR SSD RECORDING.
Especially after Michael Cioni's excellent overview on WAVELET COMPRESSION at REDUCATION today.
I also finally figured out what Jim means by "Graeme's magic pixie dust"
Graeme is a world class MATHLETE! and his Super sophisticated algorithms are necessary for Wavelet compression and that is why REDCODE gets larger and larger as the compression is reduced... and why we need FASTER AND FASTER processing to decode the math.
MPEG is DEAD... LONG LIVE WAVELET COMPRESSION!

Great! Thanks a bunch Justin. That really helps a lot in my guess work! :)
And as far as printing these goes... KenRockwell said (if anybody else is interested): http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/mpmyth.htm
Considering the pics Jarred took over the last year, the sharpness will be there. And I trust in RED mini primes ;) Maybe in time we'll get some fullsize pics from Jarred (again)... are you listening? ;)
/p
Is it possible to control audio levels with REDMOTE ???
Can you make a headphone plug on the REDMOTE so one can hear the audio ???
Maybe the REDMOTE can be a simple audio mixer(controler)... That would be a great feature...
Scarlet feature 21 is my favorite.
