I'm sure every RED in the city is going to be crazy busy, but here goes...
I'm in pre-pro for a 10 minute horror short shooting in upstate New York. Its based on a feature I've written and which my own RED will hopefully be shooting next summer. In the meantime I'm making the short to raise funds for the feature. I've been planning to shoot on varicam, but lo and behold, RED will be out in time and this suddenly becomes an option. This is a highly visual script and I would love to put RED through the paces on it. (see http://www.mistergimp.com)
So if anyone out there will have a RED by Oct 1st, and is willing to rent it out for Columbus day weekend (approx 3-4 days), I'd love to talk to you and work out a deal.
