  1. #1 scratch and handles
what is the best workflow for exporting each shot of my finished construct as a tiff seq and adding 15 frames handles on both in/out only on export?
is it even possible doing it on scratch?
sorry if it is a really dumb question btw
    thnx in advance

Ah, not dumb at all. The actual procedure is confusing for such a simple request:

    1) Construct > Timeline > press Fit In/Out
    2) Media Browser > type -10 in the +In entry and -10 in the +Out entry (don't ask why -10...), hit 'apply changes', exit media browser
    3) Construct > Timeline > press Fit Slots

    It's convoluted, but works.

    My pleasure!

I taught an intermediate/advanced level Scratch course this fall/winter at fxphd.com - don't know if you can still sign up, but it's a great on-line place to learn.

It's a good class. I'm still only half way through it. I'm one of those read the first page of the manual guys ;)

But It's great to see John work. It's very informative.

BTW John, your voice has an uncanny resemblance to Tom Hanks. My girl friend came into the room and asked if Tom Hanks was doing tutorials now.

    An update on this topic.

I'm on Scratch v8.4 trying to export a 60 seconds commercial shot in high frame rate with some rampings here and there with 20 frames of handles at the head and tail of each slot. This procedure (also explained in the user manual) didn't work for me, it created inaccurate files. I wrote to Assimilate and they told me to use DE-CONstruct command and the export the new construct. It worked great, the only caveat is that I had to add the rampings speed to the shots manually later, but it worked great.
