This is what I'm thinking about doing. I'm using Color for timing.

Would I run into any problems? What would you recommend?

Just hooked up my MXO to a panasonic BT-LH1700W last night and it was not able to get a very stable image. The unit likes to reset to black everytime you make small adjustments making my main monitor go down as well. Also I cant feed just my canvas playback without getting playback on my main monitor (ACD23). Playback is jittery, maybe the MXO2 fixes these things?

I believe the best scenario is to have the MXO coming out of second DVI head on your graphics card (should fix some above issues) also this unit seems better designed at turning a cinema display into a grading monitor, where as your monitor is already a professional grading unit.

To be honest I think you might have better luck with a AJA card or maybe something from black magic. In my experience with Kona cards, they did all the heavy lifting with minimal issues.

I would also re post your question over on the matrox forum where you might get better feedback.
