Schedule Update

Was reading the October and November anouncments and was just wondering if there has been any update on how the release schedule is going. Has the tattoo program started? Word on the anouncments was there might be EPICs being sold to red one owners by NAB, just wondering if RED are on schedule, ahead or behind?

I'm planning a trip to LA at the end of the year and am hoping it will coincide with the scarlet release.

I believe most of these questions will be answered on RED Day (Feb. 13th).

Hey Jonathan,

As Sterling said, there'll probably be a reasonable update on Red Day. That said, it seems like they're doing fairly well. The Mysterium-X is obviously sorted out, as they've begun upgrading Red Ones.

As you'll frequently read here, everything (especially product schedules) is subject to change, and Red is planning on releasing a LOT of new stuff. Between the Epic, the Scarlets, the new 18mm, the Mini Primes, all the DSMC modules and accessories, and Red Ray, that's a lot to handle. But if you're planning to hit LA at the end of '10, I think they'll be in full swing. They've indicated that they're shooting for a mid-end summer release for the S35 Scarlet, with the Fixed and Interchangeable 2/3" before that.

Feels weird how fast time is flying...we are almost at the second RED Day O.o can you imagine?!
