I read it as... if you already have A Mount for Red One then you need the Epic base mount and adapter ring. If you don't yet have an A Mount, you could just order the A Mount Universal and the Epic Base mount (no adapter ring).

We've test the Amount for Epic on EPIC, and it works very well. Now we are waiting for RED team's approve.
However, there is one bad news here, A-mount for RED version cannot use on EPIC, because it's diameter is too big for EPIC, it will touch and stock with the side handle and LCD cable.
I`m really sorry, this is an unpredictable problem when I start to make A-mount in 2009.
A-mount for RED version can still be used on other mount base, like F3 or AF100. I really apologize for the problem.
