if you have been notified to have your camera updated and you haven't done it yet, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?
i am getting 3 to 5 requests per day for my MX Body, it is like the old days back in 2007 when there were very few bodies out there.
the camera is significantly better and the word is out...so your "old" red will not rent as much if at all in the coming months.
don't delay...get it done, if you had i could be getting you work today!

dino, FYI, there has apparently been a temporary parts delay on MX upgrades... lots of cameras sitting on ice at Red HQ right now, i think. i don't think the problem is lack of interest in MX upgrades!.. just the opposite!! it's my understanding that the response has been overwhelming.

I think they only called up to #600 and then stopped there, so I don't think anyone after that can mail it back even if they felt like it

yeah but it is the non clients that are calling now, looking for bodies only. if that is your business, cool. for better or worse i must be on set with my package or i'm staying home with my son.

Anybody who isn't upgrading their camera is crazy.
Finding 9 cameras for the job I'm on was next to impossible. Upgrade your cameras!!!

Not too much longer :)
Part issue resolved, working all weekend to start working through cameras already in house, should be all caught up next week.
