I am having a hell of a time getting my footage to render out at the correct aspect ratio. The footage is at 1:235. I have set the Framing tool to fit width. On a couple of tests it worked intermittently. When I go to batch process I do not end up with the same result, the footage is stretched. It seems like it is a sequence of commands sort of thing but I cant figure it out. This is of course super frustrating cause I am trying to do this whole thing on a macbook pro and it crashes REDCINE-X if i touch anything when it is rendering.

    any thoughts?

Email me the crash report and the logs (turn on verbose logging first) please.
The logs are under userfolder/Library/Application Support/Red/Redcinex/Logs.

Try assigning a framing preset to each clip in the bin or timeline and then exporting from the bin or timeline.

Thanks, will do. i think that the crashing is due to my computer, I am trying to Do this all on 15" macbook pro it only has four gigs of ram. But I will email you the logs, Thanks again for your time.
