Top handle problems/ alternatives (broken top handle)

Do anyone know if the top handle extension will be compatable with the new scarlet and epics? The prototype models we've seen so far look similar to the existing R1 top handle, and it's making me wonder if it's worth picking the ext up now or not

Apologies. I thought this was another product rip but it looks like SIM have lost the exclusivity to market Precision Cameras Red Handle & EVF solutions. They can now be bought through http://www.vfgadgets.com/

Not that they are listed on the website yet.

We run with the original SIM video handle kit on one of our Red Cameras but find it works better with the Element Technica EVF mount as modified by Fletcher Camera


I like that Precision have modified the rear top mount to allow for rods to be now mounted fore and aft.

Will drop them an email to see if you can just get the top handle and rear battery plate.

yeah, those smart ass handles seem to look different from the sim one i've seen
