Quick release plate for Red?

hey guys,

I'm going to get an OConnor 1030HD head for the Red and am wondering what base plate I'll need. If anyone knows that would be great. Thanks!

Hi Peter you won't need a base plate as your Oconner wedge plate will simply screw on the bottom of the RED. The place where your shoulder goes is slightly to the rear of the flat area where the Oconner plate mounts. When putting the camera on your shoulder you will simply slide the body slightly to the rear on the rails to balance.
