I want to test quality of my monitors based on test patterns which are in System->Monitor->Test signal menu.

Luma ramp and chroma ramp are showing some banding. I can see that HD-SDI monitor is better than HDMI monitor, but on HD-SDI monitor I see some banding too.

Can I trust test patterns? Are they generated with 100% quality?
What're your experiences?
