Glad to hear you guys are enjoying it. I say, "To each his own." If you prefer hard copies, printing is the way to go. If you're obsessed with your iPhone, apps are nice too. I like gadgets so I lean towards the iPhone solution.
best,
Howie

Sensible logic. I don't know if I've spent $10 in printing any of the RED manuals, or ever will, I typically just keep the manual PDF on my iPhone. That said, I don't think $10 is out of line for the app. Problem is that there's so many garbage, cookie-cutter apps out there for $0.99, so everyone just expects everything to be that cheap. My wife blows through $10/day in Starbucks alone, I don't see what the complaint is about. It's an app with a limited audience and is a hell of a lot more useful than 99% of the apps on the app store (at least to those of us with a RED camera).
Hopefully the app will be updated to be iPad/iPhone hybrid. Apple is accepting iPad apps for submission now, literally as of about 2 hours ago, and I'd love to see this app load up and use the full iPad screen without invoking the 2X zoom. Add int multiple view features for combined data and search on the screen, make use of the iPad beyond what the iPhone can do...
Howard, there is definitely an error in your explanation page regarding Clean - System>Setup>Program.
Your Explanation: Clean - No Display to the HDMI or HD-SDI outputs
This should be - Clean - DOES NOT display camera, clip information or frame guides on the HDMI or HD-SDI outputs.
Wonder if there are any more of these. Can we have a Edit function to add to explanation to include our own notes
Lim
thanks for the note - I'll make sure it's addressed for the next update.
This is a great little app. Thanks Howard
