I've just finished editing on a feature climbing film shot primarily on my Red. It's called CORE and the world premiere is at the Boulder Theater on April 7th.

    CORE trailer on YouTube

This was shot between May 2009 and February 2010. Red One, Nikon Lenses.

This film is the first time that an authentic climbing documentary has been shot with this kind of picture quality.

Check it out and let me know what you think! Looking forward to the new sensor and getting back out in the field for another season.

Chuck, looks great, nice colors, fun angles. What kind of equipment did you use on the shoots? Slider, Jib, what? Wondering how much you trudged to distant locales.

    Hey Mark,

I'm usually restricted to light-weight equipment... Nikon lenses, simple filters, reflectors, etc. I sometimes use a 18' crane (a Jony Jib) and I used the Indislider pro quite a lot on this film.

Carrying that much stuff is awesome, for me and my tiny crew, but the beer at the end of the day tastes that much better!

    Cheers, Chuck
