R3D TRIM writes edited R3D files based on an EDL.
I threw up a temp site that gives a little more info on the program.

PM me if you are interested in BETA testing R3D TRIM with me.

Nice! This will be a very useful tool...
Wish I had this last week...
Great, but wouldn't this require you to have reverse engineer the R3D file format. I'm pretty sure RED is not going to allow this. I'm also pretty sure R3D trimming will be implemented into Redcine-X very soon. Rob said "soon" when someone asked for trimming at RED DAY in Feb.
This sounds amazing. I would love to test it.
no reverse engineering done. playing it by the rules :)
Really interesting. PM sent.
Is it possible to import an EDL from Avid into Redcine-X? If not then I think this program still holds strength.I'm also pretty sure R3D trimming will be implemented into Redcine-X very soon. Rob said "soon" when someone asked for trimming at RED DAY in Feb.
Is this PC or Mac? If it's PC, I'm definitely interested in beta testing! Am on the beta team for Adobe CS5 if it helps and you want to test against that ;)
