R3D TRIM writes edited R3D files based on an EDL.
I threw up a temp site that gives a little more info on the program.

Great, but wouldn't this require you to have reverse engineer the R3D file format. I'm pretty sure RED is not going to allow this. I'm also pretty sure R3D trimming will be implemented into Redcine-X very soon. Rob said "soon" when someone asked for trimming at RED DAY in Feb.

    Hey Yohance,
sent an email requesting testing. Do you have a ball park figure?
    Do you work for Assimilate?

Is it possible to import an EDL from Avid into Redcine-X? If not then I think this program still holds strength.

Is this PC or Mac? If it's PC, I'm definitely interested in beta testing! Am on the beta team for Adobe CS5 if it helps and you want to test against that ;)

We will have PC and Mac versions available. If anyone is using Linux that version could be made available as well.
