  1. #1 I must be doing something wrong
I recently DP'd a short that was edited in Vegas 9. I was not the editor but am doing the color grading. It's been a while since I've worked in vegas, but I've heard nothing but good things about it's ability to work with Red footage.
So here is my problem. We are working in 9.0c, and I find the workflow very strange. Is there any way to save presets and copy and paste your raw look to other clips. The only way I can see this to be done is by selecting multiple clips and then correcting them at the same time. However, if I've already corrected one clip and I select multiple clips with it, that clips properties revert to default. Very frustrating way of working with raw clips. Am I missing something? Certainly this can not be the workflow that everyone is praising.

at this time you cannot copy/paste RAW settings from one clip to another ...

i tend to CC the raw clips "in the ball park " using the raw controls ... then later i FINE tune using vegas CC ( which you can either copy/paste or save the plug-in chain with a name and apply it to other other clips )
i have requested the copy/paste raw CC - they said they would look into it ..
