    If you are looking to experiment with cinemascope 2x squeeze front elements on stills or other lenses give my Bausch and Lomb attachment a try:

    the rear threads are around 65mm. This puppy should give you gnarly flares and anamorphic artifacting. This is for the the DIY crowd looking to experiment. Thanks for looking!

    Ha! I have the same one- its extremely sharp, almost like looking through air when you peek down the barrell. It would probably be best for a telephoto modification as the close focus isnt so good (with out using diopters).

    @Brandon:

    you can attach this to the front of a spherical lens and shoot through it to create an anamorphically squeezed image.

    Theoretically if you have a lens technician who wants to experiment you could have this custom integrated with a prime or zoom lens to make a custom anamorphic. I can't make any guarantees on how well this would work but I think it is certainly quite possible.
