Maybe I'm missing something here, but here's the workflow I'm being asked about.

    Using Metafuze:

Transcode media at low debayer/DNxHD 36.

    Edit.

Traditional Avid online to higher resolution/better transcode settings.

I understand in theory that replacing the low resolution media is fairly simple: re-transcode your MXF files and relink to that media. But considering the transcode times, is there an easy way to select ONLY the relevant files in Metafuze to avoid transcoding every shot?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, but I've been searching for awhile and it's either going over my head or for some reason just hasn't been covered.

MetaFuze is currently designed for the first pass dailies and does not take in a pull list to re-transcode selects only. There have been several postings on these forums about XML or EDL back to REDCINE-X which would do what you are looking for.

Got it! That explains the brick wall I've been staring at.

    Thanks for the assistance, Michael!
