You can barely see the Side Handle on the right which gives between 40-60 minutes of power to the EPIC...

Please excuse my ignorance if I am wrong, but I thought the quote of 40-60 mins was for each red volt battery, as opposed to the integral side handle battery. But it would be fantastic if the side handle battery was also the same capacity. Does anyone know. Thanks!

The cool thing about the 5" ( and 2.8 and 9" ) LCD is you can spin around the base 180 degrees separately from the Monitor section and reverse that LEMO port to the left side if you so desire, giving you hardcore cable management folks plenty of options...

Yes... It is now an eject mechanism with a push button. There is also another surprise With the side cf module you will see in a couple days :)

A door over the slot perhaps? Along with higher card capacities.

the 2,6 inch minitor is very cool in certain situations, did use one with a si2k a couple of times, docstyle in places where you dont want to be that present with a cam or monitor.
congrats, i am counting with an additional of 10k in assecoires to enjoy the epic in its full joy

This may seem to be a silly question but I don't mean it to be. Will the Epic work in space (i.e. a vacuum)?

Apart from radiation (space) there is the question of heat transfer (vacuum). There is a reason for the internal fan, but I assume if you have the financial capability to get your camera into space, you can deal with external heatsink issues. (I'm not sure radiation is necessarily a show-stopper; I believe the space station has hosted more-or-less standard DSLR and video cameras already.)
