Is it just me? But is the front facing Monitor port gonna be in our way at all times, especially when swapping lenses?

super happy about the 64gb cards though.

Use an L-connector if you're really worried.

No need to be so defensive. I wasn't complaining at all, just making a query. A couple of months ago I almost lost all my audio on a flashcard. I was warned never to put all my eggs in a basket so I've been a bit nervous about this since then.

Thanks guys, I suppose it makes sense that way.

Second curtain flash synch just means the flash fires at the end of the frame exposure rather than the beginning - I would think it was relatively easy to implement in pure electronics and software than with a mechanical shutter. Canon has it as a custom user option in the menus. It just means the motion blur trail precedes the sharp flash exposure which can look more natural when you want that effect.

Please take a look at the first photo of the actual prototype on this thread:

You will see the monitor port now faces the rear.. I would seem you can change it as you need too.

No need to get an L-Connector

I know I operate at the lower end of things here on REDUSER but I just finished DIT'ing and 2nd Unit Directing a 90 minute feature where we shot 1.5 TB of footage in total.

Just wanted to say that not everything is set in stone and 64Gb at a time can be a hefty chunk of your movie. Just depends on your shooting style.

That being said, 64 gig cards can't come soon enough...that's almost 60 minutes of 4k hd RC28 for TV doc shoots (off the top of my head, sorry for the bad math)!

Pretty sure that's the old side CF unit - this one is fixed forwards.

I think I see the corner of a second CF card tucked in behind the 64GIG one. yes?
