I'm afraid not...
Everything was rented and we used the CF cards several times.
That's also strange:
It's not the same card where the Problems happen.

Try this.
find the R3D folder you are having problem with. Make a copy of the whole folder.
Then look into the copied folder then trash the proxy files.
Next open it in Red Alert or clipfinder, then do the make QuickTime.
Thanks Kuku...
I just tried it, but the new proxies still don't work.
Quicktime player plays some frames, then just green ones - just like before.
But when I just click through the timeline in Clipfinder I can see that the frames exist!
The data is there...
So I searched the Forum AGAIN...
Found a lot of posts about the same or similar issue.
Tips were: Bad Fire Wire 800 cable, bad CF Card reader, bad CF Module, recreate Proxies.
If so many users over here had the same problem, what did you do with the files - just leave them.
I can't - I'm afraid some of the files where one takes - and I need those.
Please guys... come up with more ideas...
Is there a way I can look at the file?
I sent you a PM
Thanks for your help!
Kim,
Did you say you have the latest REDCODE? You should work with the v 3.9.0.
I opened you file with the system installed with v 4.1, it crashes right away.
But with v 3.9.0, I was able to create proxies.
However, I do see a green frame in the R3D file so your original R3D file does have a problem that is leading to issues. You should provide this file to Deanan and ask for specific way to get your footage out of the corrupted R3D.
Kim,
REDAlert! seems to crash up on rendering, but with RED ROCKET & ROCKETcine-X, I was able to render out to ProRes422HQ the entire clip, but with the bad frame showing up like the codec error.
So the bad frame exists, but if you find someone with RR, you can ask him to render clips for you. You will have bad frames, but at least you would be able to work with the rest of the footage.
Thaaaaaaank YOooouuu Kaku!
Thank you very much!
Kim,
Hope the rest of the clips would work for you the same at least.
